I was umm-ing and ahh-ing about whether to get this palette, and well eventually... i caved. It was love at first sight as soon as i opened the box.
The NARS Narsissist palette is part of Nars' spring 2014 gifting collection, and is limited edition along with a cheek palette. It contains 15 shades which are meant to be their bestsellers, with every shade being wearable and relatively neutral, with some slightly more smokey and unique colours in there too. This palette includes basically every neautral eyeshadow you could ever need - mattes, shimmers, glitters, warm tones, cool tones and pinky tones. Its pretty much like all three naked palettes rounded up into one travel friendly palette, except i find the colours to be much more unique.
Overall, the quality of this palette is amazing, although some of the shadows take more to achieve opaque colour and can be a little stiff. I always use an eyeshadow base, and if you do then i don't imagine this would really be a problem as the eyeshadows would stick much better. The palette costs £55 which really does make my purse weep, but considering one Nars duo would set you back £25, its really worth picking up if you're lusting over more than a handful of their shades. Besides, i don't think you'd really need to buy any more neutral palettes once you have it (Although who can resist ey...)
So, there we have it, me declaring my love for this pretty new release. I'll be following up this post with another featuring three looks created with this palette, so keep an eye out for that sometime this week. The Narsissist eye palette is currently sold out on the Nars website, but will be released onto Nars counters on the 1st February, so i suggest you grab one then before they disappear!
