The 'in a rush' edit

The concept is simple. That feeling where you wake up, turn of your alarm and snooze for an extra half an hour, thus leaving yourself a mere 15 minutes to get ready and be out the door. No time for a shower, to fix up your hair...you know the one. What do you prioritise? Here I've outlined my favourite and most trustworthy 'in a rush' products to leave me prepped for the day ahead and looking like I've spent hours getting ready.

Multi-use products are a life saviour in these situations, and the Origins VitaZing moisturiser is my favourite base to use when short of time. It works as your moisturiser, your SPF and your base. Wow. It's not the most covering of products, but its hydrating and gives you a tint to cover any redness or pigmentation, whilst imparting a gorgeous glow. For any areas which need extra coverage eg. dark circles and blemishes, the Bobbi Brown creamy concealer is an easy to apply and blend concealer which works well on both blemishes and under the eyes. To finish off the base, apply a dusting of the MAC mineralize skinfinish in lightscapade to set everything in place and give you a subtle glow.

To perk up tired eyes, mascara is key. I love wearing the Revlon grow luscious mascara day to day as it adds length and a bit of volume in one coat. Brows are another absolute essential to me, so if you're the same, add the Hourglass brow sculpting pencil to your collection, you wont regret it. A waxy easy to use pencil which fills in brows effortlessly whilst not looking overdone, and it keeps them in place too. Perfect. If you have time, a swipe of the Clinique chubby stick for eyes in 'fuller fudge' will add a bit of definition and make you look like you've spent ages getting ready. The gorgeous bronze shade compliments all eye colours, whilst the easy to blend formula means you don't even need a brush. To add some colour back into your complexion, i love using the Stila convertible colour in camellia. Not a colour you hear too much about, but its a gorgeous peachy brown shade which acts as a bronzer and blush in one, and also works well on the lips where it's more of a peachy nude colour. Chuck it in your bag for touch ups.

Finally, spray a spritz of the Dove refresh + care dry shampoo to freshen things up and give you a bit of volume, fluff, and go.
