STYLE DIARY | SUBTLE PRINTS

WEARING
SHIRT - TOPSHOP // SHORTS - ONE TEASPOON // BOOTS - ZARA(SIMILAR) // BAG - CHLOE

So i used to be all about the basics, but now i'm a sucker for a good print. Don't get me wrong you still won't see me in a full colourful outfit, but i think a printed piece here and there can really help to elevate an outfit.

STYLE DIARY | OFF SHOULDER FRILLS

WEARING
TOP - TOPSHOP // JEANS - TOPSHOP // SHOES(similar) - TOPSHOP // BAG - CHLOE

So until a few weeks ago, i hadn't shopped in topshop for a really long time. I finally went in to pick up a few pieces (mainly basics and denim) and i was pleasantly surprised. I'm still not 100% sold on the store, i feel like they've really gone downhill in the past few years, but i'm slowly starting to see more and more pieces i like. Hopefully they are getting back on track and will be one of my favourite stores again!

This is another look that i shot in London last month. I love this look, its summery but casual and perfect for the changing weather at the moment. I'm still desperately trying to break in these shoes as they are a little uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time. I think my feet must be really delicate because i get blisters from literally anything that isn't a flat shoe or trainer. Sad times. I'm really hoping the good weather sticks around for a little longer so i can wear clothes like this and drink rose in the sun for at least a couple of weeks more!

MY FAVOURITE THINGS | BLUSH PINK & NEW HAIR

WEARING:
BLOUSE - ASOS // JEANS - TOPSHOP // SHOES - TOPSHOP / CHOKER - OH SO LOVELY INTIMATES

Is there anything better than a fresh new 'do? I don't think so. I only get my hair dyed around twice a year and boy do i look forward to it. It takes a lot of willpower to leave it that long but i have a terrible fear of my hair all falling out, seeing as its happened before. EEK.

So sometime during the month i've been absent from blogging (my bad), i visited London and headed to my favourite salon, Samantha Cusick London for a hair refresh. If you haven't been there then you really need to, even just for the decor alone! My balayage was refreshed and lightened, and a new ashy hue was added. All finished off with an Olaplex treatment (a hair saviour FYI), a lob, and a wonderful blow dry. I saw Rachel & Adam and i highly recommend both of them.

Whats my second favourite thing? Probably anything and everything in blush pink. Im so obsessed at the moment, its not even funny. I've made it my mission to make the perfect blush pink Lingerie set for my Valentine's collection as i can't find one and i need one in my life. For now i am fulfilling my obsession with this pretty blouse from ASOS. I love the silky satin feel, the floaty silhouette and the pulled in waist. The front ties add a little extra detail and make it more of a fun blouse (in my opinion).

So i still have two more looks to edit from my trip to london 3 weeks ago, so expect those to appear on the blog soon! My new A/W collection (for Oh So Lovely Intimates) has taken over my life but i need to get these posts up before it gets too cold to wear summer clothes. Autumn please go away for a few more weeks at least!?

STYLE DIARY | CRISP WHITES & DISTRESSED DENIM

WEARING:
TOP - TOPSHOP // SHORTS - ONE TEASPOON // BAG - CHLOE // SHOES - ZARA

So off shoulder tops are definitely having a moment right now. I am absolutely in love and i'm finding it hard to stop buying everything shoulder showing. Crisp white shirts are another love of mine, so when i saw this top in topshop i just knew i had to have it. Its a summery top with a smart come luxe vibe to it, making it a little more wearable for all year round. You could also dress this up for an evening out, down like i have hear or wear it a little smarter for a meeting. The possibilities are endless!

ADVICE | FEELING LEFT BEHIND IN THE BIG BLOGGING WORLD

WEARING:
DRESS - ASOS // SHOES - ASOS(similar) // SUNGLASSES - QUAY // BAG - ZARA
JEWELS - RUE GEMBON

So i started blogging around 4 years ago now, and boy how time flies. When looking back on my blogging journey i definitely think i've come so far, but when comparing myself to other bloggers, its easy to feel a little left behind. There are bloggers who started around the same time as me or even after me who seem to be having a lot more success, so after thinking about this a lot i decided it was time to write about it, for other small time or new bloggers out there!

STYLE DIARY | INTRODUCING COLOUR TO YOUR WARDROBE FOR SUMMER

WEARING:
TOP - FOR LOVE AND LEMONS // SKIRT - FIRST & I // JACKET - MISSGUIDED
BAG - CHLOE // TRAINERS - ADIDAS

I'm not a big fan of colour. I fact, i usually just stick to black, white, grey and denim. But recently i've began introducing little bits of colour into my wardrobe, so i thought i'd write about some easy and non-daunting ways to add colour into your wardrobe for summer, particularly if you're a monochrome kinda gal.
