STYLE DIARY | THE STAPLE BLACK BLAZER

WEARING:
SHIRT - NEW LOOK // BLAZER - ASOS (similar) // JEANS - ASOS
BAG - GIVENCHY // TRAINERS - NEW BALANCE // SUNGLASSES - QUAY AUSTRALIA

Another look from when i went to London in the middle of February. I wore this on the second day, which was set out to be a a day full of shopping, eating and general walking around London. I wanted something comfortable and a little bit more smart, but still fitting with my generally laid back style. I saw this blazer on ASOS at the beginning of the month, added it to basket and then went back a couple of hours later to find it out of stock, i was distraught haha! I then stalked it for the next hour or so until it left the other persons basket and luckily it came back in stock, so i nabbed the last one as quickly as i could. It really is the perfect black blazer for me. It's a relaxed, oversize fit and i love the fact that its double breasted. It can be dressed up or down making it perfect for any occasion. Plus, it's light enough to wear on a summer evening, but i was still warm enough in it on this windy winters day. I decided to pair it with this simple striped shirt from New Look, which is super comfortable and is in keeping with the smart look. To finish off the look i went for my grey jeans which are again, super comfortable and stretchy, meaning i don't have to worry about unbuttoning them if i eat too much food... Finally, i added in some current staples of mine. These New Balance trainers which seem to work with pretty much any outfit (and were so cheap at £35 in the junior section, yay for my tiny feet!), my Givenchy bag and my Quay Australia aviator sunnies.

Do you have any wardrobe staples which you find yourself wearing time and time again? I have quite a few which i plan on sharing with you over the coming months! x
