Sweater weather

Jumpers are one thing which i can never stop buying, even in the summer, if i see a jumper i truly love, i'll buy it in preparation for the colder months to come. Although this seems a little extreme, a cosy jumper to snuggle up in is one thing you cannot give a miss during winter, and with a fair few new additions to the gang and some which i now can't live without, i thought i'd round up my favourites.

The pastel knits // topshop, £29
Pastels are usually a thing kept strictly to summer, but this one breaks the rules and fits into my winter wardrobe perfectly. This fuzzy little number from topshop works so well to brighten up an all black outfit in the colder months. It's a very dull pastel, which means that it goes with almost anything. I love the texture of this one, as playing with different textures is something i'm loving at the moment. I love it paired with a pair of black skinnies, a dark red lip and my topshop black and white textured jacket.

Keeping it simple // topshop (old), primark £10, zara £35.99
Winter to me means that i want to spend as little time as possible faffing about with what to wear but somehow still manage to look effortlessly chic, so a simple cosy knit is an essential for days when i want to look nice, without all the effort. This simple black jumper is one of my favourites from last year, as its got a very simple yet chunky knit, which gives it a bit of texture and makes it that little bit more cosy, along gives it a slight grunge feel. A black jumper is an essential to any wardrobe, as it literally goes with anything i choose to throw on with it. I actually purchased this in two other colours as i love it so much, so i'm well stocked on oversized knitwear. This primark number is very different from all the other jumpers that i own, in that it looks a lot more structured, but its still just as comfy. The slight turtle neck makes it look quite chic and the subtle cropped style makes it great to pair with things such as skorts or leather look trousers as it doesn't completely cover them up. I also love the textured and turned up edges as it makes it that little bit less casual and is a slight statement in its self. I couldn't resist and bought it in grey too...The last one is the newest of the bunch, but has worked its way up to be my favourite already. This jumper from zara is the softest jumper i own, and i literally cannot stop wearing it. I got a size up so that it would be oversized, and it just fits so nicely and is perfect to snuggle into. The neckline is quite high but not stiff, and the soft fabric means it hangs a lot nicer than most chunky jumpers. It's the perfect shade of grey and looks amazing paired with tartan.

Is it a top or is it a jumper? // primark £10
Since spying the cropped fluffy t shirt jumpers topshop brought out i knew i had to have one, but i could not justify the price. When primark brought out a perfect dupe i bought one immediately, and its surprising how often i actually wear it. its warm and cosy like a jumper, but as its a t shirt style with short sleeves it means its great for layering. I love it paired with american apparel riding pants, a black jacket, fur gilet and tartan scarf!

If you don't own a cosy jumper already, i suggest you pick one up, right away...My top spots are topshop, zara, asos and missguided. Zara being my favourite, but then again, it is the most expensive!

Winter, i'm ready for you.
