I love to wear denim all year round, and although England doesn't get particularly hot, i don't think denim can look particularly summer appropriate. Of course you've got denim shorts which are a must for me, but i thought i'd share some of my other favourite ways to wear denim in summer.

WHITE DENIM // White denim is personally, for me, pretty much only appropriate in the warmer months. Although saying that, a good pair of baggy ripped white jeans can look amazing with an oversized jumper. Anyway, i think adding a pair of white jeans into your wardrobe means you can continue on wearing a casual daily outfit of jeans and a tee, in a way which looks a lot more summery, and chic too in my opinion! You could also make the switch with denim jackets, shorts and skirts. I also find white denim to be quite versatile as it means you can wear double denim without worrying about looking like a 90's throwback.

DENIM TOPS // Denim tops are something which i've only started adding into my wardrobe this year, but i love. There are so many options available, from bardot tops to camis to raw hem t shirt styles and everything in between. They look particularly good paired with white denim but also work well with trousers, printed shorts and skirts or lace. Asos and zara have some great affordable options.

RIPPED DENIM // I think ripped denim is great for the warmer months. It looks a lot more casual and effortless, especially if we are talking a pair of ripped denim shorts. If i'm wanting to cover up a little more without getting too hot in the sun, ripped jeans are great as they allow airflow around your legs haha! I personally love shopping on boohoo, missguided and asos but if you are a little less petite than i am, zara and one teaspoon do amazing options! It kills me whenever i check out their denim as I'm just a little too short and small in the waist for their sizing.

Whats your favourite way to wear denim in summer? Let me know in the comments!
