During Summer, i truly appreciate living by the Sea. A morning beach walk with my dog, an afternoon lounge on the sand, a trip to the pier amusements, an evening BBQ with friends. These are all things i cherish being able to do on a daily basis (when i'm not slaving away at my desk, of course!). Fashion is my hobby and my passion, so finding the perfect outfits for these occasions is something i think a lot about. Summer seems to come and go so quickly in the UK, that i tend to stick to the high street for my new warmer weather wardrobe purchases. ASOS in particular is my go to, due to their large range of designs, plethora of brands & quick delivery. Just made plans and found you've got nothing to wear? ASOS will save the day with their speedy next day delivery. Always.

This first look is a combination of my new favourite beach pieces. This swimsuit is perfect for the UK where i don't feel so comfortable prancing around in a skimpy bikini. The low cut back with strappy detail is so flattering and a key focal point for the piece. Pair that with the high cut leg, and you're left looking so tall and slim, with a rather peachy behind. What more could you want? I threw on this shirt which i don't think is technically for the beach, but the lightweight material is perfect for throwing on to shade you from the sun, or cover you up a little for an ice cream run. This kind of colour also goes with everything, so if you were to take it on holiday it could become multiple outfits. Finally the accessories, the sandals are comfy and easy to slip on and off, whilst the gold tone makes the look a little more luxe. The sun hat is a must for me if i'm by the beach, to shield my face from the sun (i am terrified of wrinkles!) and allow me to read my book with ease (or browse instagram...)

Next up, a look which is pretty much a typical daytime outfit for me. A summer dress with nude accessories. Perfect for a walk on the promenade, or if i'm not feeling like full on lounging in the sun. In the summer i find myself experimenting so much more with colours and prints, but i think this dress may be my most daring yet! Bold with its tropical print, yet subtle enough  to wear on the daily due to the blush pink base. This off shoulder fit with separate sleeves is my favourite shape for summer. Having the sleeves sewn only at the armpit means you can move around without worrying about the shoulders popping up, plus it means they drape over the arms in such a relaxed way. Seriously, so flattering. If you haven't tried a dress (or top) in this style then you need to! I'm only 5'1 so this dress is pretty much knee length on me, which i would usually be opposed to, but i think in this style it just works. I think if it was shorter, it may make me look a little wide due to my small frame! If you're taller than me however, i think the balance will be just perfect. Again paired with the same sandals, because gold just goes with everything, plus my favourite Chloe Accessories which are pretty much a summer essential for me.

Just in case you need even more outfit inspo, i've browsed the site and popped some of my absolute favourites below. I think i'll end up purchasing a few, because you can never have enough options, right?
